This role is based in Sandton, Johannesburg North.
Key Responsibilities:
- GL Account Reconciliations: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records by meticulously reconciling general ledger accounts.
- Data Analysis for Reports: Utilize your analytical prowess to dissect data, generate insights, and produce comprehensive reports to drive informed decision-making.
- Asset Ledger Processing: Manage asset ledger transactions with precision, maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Bank Reconciliations: Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are promptly resolved.
- FIC Reporting: Demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements by diligently preparing and submitting Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) reports.
- Authorizing Online Banking Payments: Safeguard financial transactions by authorizing online banking payments accurately and securely.
- General Accounting Responsibilities: Handle a range of accounting tasks with finesse, showcasing your expertise in financial management and reporting.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Embrace the dynamic nature of our organization by assisting with various ad-hoc financial tasks as needed, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability.
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting or relevant finance qualification
- 4 years experience as an Accountant
