Are you a skilled carpenter with a passion for restoring furniture to its former glory? We are currently seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team and contribute to our furniture restoration projects.
Position: Experienced Carpenter for Furniture Restoration
Location: Sun Valley, Capri
Job Type: Contracted Worker possibility for Full-time
Responsibilities:
Restore and repair Mid-century furniture pieces using traditional carpentry techniques.
Assess the condition of furniture and determine appropriate restoration methods.
Perform structural repairs, and joinery work as needed.
Repairing missing or damaged veneer.
Refinish furniture surfaces, including sanding, and applying finishes.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably with a focus on furniture restoration.
Proficiency in traditional carpentry techniques and furniture repair methods.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to restoration challenges.
Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Experience working with a variety of wood types, veneers and finishes.
