We have an amazing opportunity for a Professional Civil Engineer/Technologist - Water & Wastewater based in Cape Town
Industry: Civil Engineering - Water and Wastewater
Level: Senior
Key Requirements:
• BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA.
• Minimum of eight years' experience in water, wastewater, and/or treatment works.
• Experience in technical writing and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in project management software and relevant design tools.
• Strong understanding of statutory approval processes for water and wastewater projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and mentor junior staff.
• Proven track record in managing commercial, quality, resourcing, scheduling, and technical risks throughout project lifecycles.
• Ability to undertake and coordinate feasibility or planning studies for water, wastewater, and treatment projects, including report compilation.
• Experience in producing construction contract documentation and managing project finances.
• Demonstrated success in identifying and pursuing potential work opportunities in the water sector.
• Up-to-date knowledge of statutory procedures and technical standards in the field.
