ENVIRONMENT:
YOUR expertise, strong problem-solving & analytical ability is sought by our client, a dynamic IT Solutions Provider to fill a 3-pronged multifaceted role of a Software Product Owner/Product Manager & Business Analyst. You will help define & refine the product vision and roadmap for internal business systems while gathering requirements, prioritizing features, and ensuring alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and a keen interest in technology and user experience. Familiarity with Agile Software Development principles is important, but a primary focus will be on building rapport and trust with an experienced Engineering team. You also need experience with Business Process Analysis, Stakeholder Management, and Functional User Testing including having worked with complex business systems that integrate with multiple APIs and preferably have managed multiple product backlogs.
DUTIES:
- Partner with senior management to define and refine the product vision and roadmap for internal business systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements, prioritise features, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Become a domain expert on internal systems (such as Zoho Suite), as well as Cybersecurity products and general sales processes.
- Build a strong understanding of external system integrations.
- Manage the product backlog, keeping it organised, prioritised, and up to date.
- Build a strong, respect-driven relationship with the Development team.
- Work closely with Development teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and user stories, as well as technical constraints.
- Drive testing and quality assurance activities.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of internal systems.
- Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides and release notes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in Business Process Analysis, Stakeholder Management, and Functional User Testing.
- You are a quick learner with a strong desire to expand your technical knowledge (experience with SQL is a plus, with a conceptual understanding of Ruby/Angular/MongoDB/Redis/Cloud Infrastructure/Kubernetes being advantageous).
- Experience working with complex business systems that integrating with multiple APIs.
- Experience managing multiple product backlogs is preferred.
