Description:

To secure new business by marketing the Company’s services within the geographic boundaries of the assigned region.

New Business Sales

  • Meet and exceed monthly new business sales target
  • Sell the Company’s services to all customers within set regional boundaries
  • Ensure that the account is secured in its entirety i.e .maximum potential
  • Negotiate gross profits in line with company objectives
  • Prospecting new clients
  • Conduct needs analysis
  • Propose customised client solution and rate negotiation
  • Identify and secure sales opportunities with new business accounts
  • Optimisation of sales volumes and prizes
  • Ensure monthly sales targets, new account targets are achieved and exceeded
  • Report to the Brnach / Sales Manager on matters such as:

i. Market trends

ii. Customer suggestions etc.

iii. Competitor activity

  • Attend and contribute to sales meetings
  • Complete and submit periodic sales reports

Requirements:

  • Meet and exceed monthly new business sales target
  • Sell the Company’s services to all customers within set regional boundaries
  • Ensure that the account is secured in its entirety i.e .maximum potential

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12
  • Driver’s Licence & own reliable vehicle is a must
  • Sales and Marketing Diploma / Degree is beneficial

Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience and proven track record within a sales / target driven environment
  • Experience in the courier/logistics industry is beneficial

Knowledge:

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of the business principles and sales strategy
