Diesel Mechanic

Description:

Maintenance and repairs on earthmoving equipment (yellow machines) and other vehicles and equipment to ensure vehicles and equipment are available for mining operations and production. Position based in Bronkhorstspruit. Qualifications and experience:

• Diesel Mechanic trade test
• Code EC drivers license
• Supervisory skills
• Human relations and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to give attention to detail3-5 years experience in a similar role
• Physically fit and healthy
• Work overtime as and when needed
• Standby
• Legal appointment Section 2.13.2 in terms of the MHSA

Duties:

• Undertake maintenance and repair work on vehicles and equipment as scheduled to ensure that vehicles and plant are in a good working condition.
• Manage the staff component (Artisan Aid) and perform administrative duties to ensure that objectives and proper outcomes are achieved.
• Effective and safe handling of materials and working tools during maintenance and repair work to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Salary between R40 000.00 and R50 000.00
