Job Description

Your duties will encompass:

  • Coordinate Road & Sea Logistics function in line with responsible destination.
  • Administrate the logistics of vehicles into the relevant destination ensuring timeous delivery and error-free documentation.
  • Complete the necessary daily/weekly/monthly updates, schedules and reports to control and monitor the required export function.
  • Plan all vessel / carrier bookings with the relevant transporters to ensure accurate schedules and delivery lead times.
  • Develop all import & export documents such as Invoices, COO, P/L, BOL’s, etc. to ensure effective management of the logistics process.
  • Provide customers and service providers (transporters, couriers, customs, etc.) liaison to always ensure effective communication.
  • Process the required SAP / IT System capturing in accordance with the relevant deadlines.
  • Strict Adherence and development of all standard operating procedures relevant to logistics and accessory fitment / conversions to ensure compliancy and confidentiality.
  • Ensure that all necessary information is readily available for management reports and performance appraisals.
  • Oversee specific departmental responsibility and ensure adequate training such as ISO14001, Health and Safety, First Aid, Fire Fighting, UID etc.

  • Matric.
  • Certificate in Logistics Management.
  • 5 years of Import/Export (Including Business Administration), in the motor industry.
  • Customs and excise regulations/ Import and Export Road and Sea Experience.
  • MS Office - Intermediate.
  • Knowledge of SAP System.
Qualifications
