Our pioneering Engineering Consultant agency based in Johannesburg North, currently seeks a skilled, self-motivated Assistant Financial Manager to join their Financial Department. Please note that this position is a mornings only position. The successful candidate must consider themselves as a hands-on team player with good managerial skills who is also an effective communicator with excellent time management skills and has the ability to strive under pressure.Your duties include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial accounts to audit including account reconciliation and compliance
- Depreciation of fixed assets
- Installment sale agreements
- Monthly VAT returns
- Drafting Annual Financial Statements on CaseWare
- Assisting in managing the operation and development of the finance department
- Preparation, planning and completing annual BBBEE Certificate - Construction sector
- Completed Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of consistent experience in a similar role
- Industry experience in Engineering/Mining/Construction/ Manufacturing advantageous
- Experience with SAP Business One, Enterprise, CaseWare, Power BI and Sage 300 required
- Advanced Excel and Word skills
- Solid Financial Data Analysis knowledge
- Critical reporting and thinking skills needed
- Assertive personality
- Ability to cope under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Team Player
- Deadline driven
- Meticulous organisational and time management skills
