An esteemed IT management and support company is looking for a dynamic IT Business Analyst to join their team! Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation and optimization of their shop floor control system and various local and global applications within the manufacturing and distribution facility. - Dive into application source code using Visual Studio 2012 C#.
- Propose and implement changes, collaborating with global or local teams.
- Develop and modify reports using Crystal Reports 2008.
- Demonstrate mastery of database structures and SQL 2008/2012.
- Enhance manufacturing processes, offering user training and identifying efficiency opportunities.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Manufacturing to align systems with evolving needs.
- Oversee operational tasks like printing of barcoded stickers and scanning completed gumsheets.
- Partner with Vendors to support specialist applications.
- Ensure effective user training and compliance with vendor SOPs.
- Assist with vendor contract reviews and IT infrastructure alignment to ensure SLA's are correctly represented.
- Manage various systems including but not limited to: Accumark and Gerber plotter software, Tonello washing machines, CCTV, Laser finishing machines, Impronet Biometric systems, ADEC (EIM), Timekeeper Time and Attendance system, CRS Payroll system, WD-CRS Employee Self Service, Sewing floor staff computer center - Kiosks, Paxar Label printing with Averydenison, Local DECT telephone system, Training rooms including AV and Sound, Media players \ TV’s on sewing floor, AV systems including factory wide piped music, paging, etc., Technology for sewing machines (Industry 4.0), Scanners, DC label printing and Printer support, Bartech software, ODIN – Real time data from sewing machines.
- Support global applications like SAP, CARTs, PLM, Hanna, APO, DaVinci, GCT (PD), DAM (PD), factory management, and ensuring adherence to SOPs.
- Collaborate with global teams for local customization requests.
- Ensure SOPs exist for local needs and oversee global changes for local implementation.
- Review and approve local user access rights.
- Coordinate with IT support services for desktop support and infrastructure needs.
- Manage external IT purchases and installations.
- Collaborate on non-support initiatives with the IT Manager.
- Proficiency in C# and Visual Studio 2012.
- Strong business analysis and report writing skills.
- Database SQL 2008/2012 expertise.
- Understanding of clothing manufacturing and distribution.
- Familiarity with SAP, payroll, and planning tools.
- Basic knowledge of IT hardware and networking principles.
- 6+ years of similar role experience.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Permanent position in Epping plant.
- 40-hour work week with occasional overtime.
- Reports to Plant management team.
