Description:
As a Design Manager specializing in Bakery Machinery FMCG Machinery, your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities related to the conceptualization, design, and implementation of machinery used in the production of bakery goods and FMCG products as well as managing the Design Team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Management: Coordinate and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints. This involves overseeing multiple aspects of the project, including design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and installation.
· Design and Innovation: Lead the design process for bakery machinery and FMCG machinery, utilizing your creativity, technical expertise, and understanding of industry trends to develop innovative and efficient solutions. Stay updated on advancements in technology and manufacturing processes to continually improve product designs.
· Team Leadership: Manage a team of designers, engineers, and technicians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional development and the successful execution of projects. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.
· Product Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and production, to translate customer requirements and market demands into product specifications. Drive the development of new machinery models or product variants that address evolving consumer preferences and industry trends.
· Quality Assurance : Establish and enforce quality standards and procedures throughout the design and manufacturing process to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of bakery machinery and FMCG machinery. Conduct thorough testing and validation to identify and address any issues or deficiencies.
· Supplier and Vendor Management : Collaborate with external suppliers and vendors to source components, materials, and equipment necessary for the manufacturing of machinery. Negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and monitor performance to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
· Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant industry regulations, standards, and certifications pertaining to food processing equipment and machinery safety. Ensure that all designs and products comply with applicable regulatory requirements and undergo necessary testing and certification processes.
· Customer Support: Provide technical support and assistance to customers, sales teams, and service technicians regarding the installation, operation, and maintenance of bakery machinery and FMCG machinery. Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions to optimize equipment performance.
· Cost Management: Monitor project costs and expenses throughout the design and manufacturing process, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements without compromising quality or performance.
· Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation, including design specifications, drawings, manuals, and project reports. Keep stakeholders informed about project progress, milestones, and challenges through regular updates and presentations.
Requirements:
· 5-8 Year experience within a Mechanical Design Industry
· 3-5 Years experience as a Design Manager or Manager
· Inventor Design experience is preferred
· Designing machinery and equipment for the food industry or bakery industrial
· Project Management experience
