Description:
Cost Accountant needed asap! Our client is seeking a self-starter and go-getter to take control of the cost accounting function at their Johannesburg East branch.Duties:
- Review actuals vs budget with detailed commentary on variances.
- Assist with recording waste percentages & interventions to reduce waste.
- Manage daily costing requests.
- Assist with analysis of stock variance and investigating origin of stock variances.
- Calculate the cost price of manufacturing raw materials, Labour and overheads allocation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Matric/Grade 12 – with Mathematics/Accounting.
- BCom in Accounting or a related field.
- CIMA Qualified
- 3 – 5 years’ minimum experience in Production or Manufacturing environment.
- Opex experience
