Description:
- Maintain files such as maintenance records, SLAs, service provider reports/time sheets, bills of lading, and engineering cost reports.
- Pre-screening of job cards, scope the work, plan on spares and allocate to the relevant department.
- Follow up or issued work orders and ensure completion.
- Weekly time sheets and standby list.
- Co-ordinate tasks between departments.
- Plan shutdowns, lead, attend, and record minutes in Shutdown meetings,
- Prioritize jobs and distribute to relevant departments and personnel.
- Make available appropriate engineering SOPs, drawings, technical specifications and literature.
- Schedule equipment for planned maintenance and ensure implementation.
- Ensure that all weekly, monthly, quarterly checklists are recorded and liaise with the engineer on those outstanding and those that need updating.
- Prepare risk assessments for major plant shutdown work and any other major breakdowns.
- Works in liaison with the buying and stores team to ensure availability of spares for all planned work and upcoming Shutdowns
- Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes
- Set up Maintenance plans, Set-up equipment hierarchy for existing and all new equipment in the SAP PM Module
- Direct and train workers on use of the planned maintenance Module
- Diagnose and work with the organisation Global SAP PM Module team, to improve, repair, eliminate issues on the SAP PM Module
- Perform senior standby duties
- Assist in procuring of any breakdown components after hours
- Work closely with the production planning teams
- Perform any other legitimate activity as require
