Opportunity to apply for a Application Development Manager at a Software Dev House. You will head up their team of PHP and Front-end Developers. You will need to be well-versed in product development and strategy, but also in programming fundamentals and methodologies. You will work in an agile environment, building and leading teams of engineers developing applications for various platforms. Qualifications- Degree or Equivalent
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development
- 5+ years as a senior technical leader
- Knowledge of a strongly typed programming language.
- Experience working with agile methodologies
- Successfully led development and delivery of multiple complex business technology solutions into production that have achieved or surpassed business goals
- Developing and supporting mission critical applications optimized to run in the cloud or virtualized environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline and builds.

- Hire, train and mentor new developers, taking responsibility to assist developers in their career path and growth
- Define and manage the team structure.
- Maintain and improve development standards for the team, which includes all aspects of a modern development CI/CD pipeline.
- Evaluate team members performance, provide candid feedback and high impact coaching that enables (and motivates) them to achieve
- Drive the cultural changes necessary to enable a continuous delivery model and foster a strong focus on automation of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Ensure that all application development initiatives are well managed and delivered to meet expectations on functionality and timeliness.
- Oversight on ongoing integrations into the production environment.
- Develop and lead a collaborative and Agile software development approach that improves velocity, while maintaining a strong focus on both quality and scalability.
