Senior Bookkeeper – CAPE TOWN, Woodstock - R18 00 to R25 000 Per Month
To start ASAP
Senior Bookkeeper DAILY:
· Maintenance of banking and bank reconciliation
· Online banking payments, transfers and Ad hoc payments
· Creditors Control
· Oversee Debtors
· Ensure a smooth running of the accounts department.
· Verify billing by suppliers
Ad hoc functions WEEKLY:
· Supervise and oversee accounts administrators
· Run through all sales and profit margins (i.e VAT report)
MONTHLY Functions:
· Oversee and maintain full control functions for Debtor and Creditors
· Ensure Debtors and Creditors age analysis is up to date
· Maintain an updated stock inventory on our accounting system (Quickbooks)
· Assist with full stock take procedures when necessary
· Control all creditor rebates and settlement discounts and oversee this function for debtors.
· Calculation and submission of all statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, EASYFILE etc.)
· Staff Payroll.
· Full payroll administration
· Management reports to Director
· Ensure all accounting process balance up to Trial Balance.
ANNUAL Functions:
· Assist Chartered Accountant with Audit activities
· Ensure that all accounting processes balance up to Trial Balance
· Ensure receipt of annual rebates
· Assist Accountant with Audit / Review activities.
