Description:
IT Support Technician (Onsite and Remote) – Century City – R15 000 per month
• Knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of networking principals – specifically for Windows based systems
• Basic knowledge of printers - specifically how to install, test and troubleshoot local and network printers.
• Highly computer literate with a extremely good understanding and use of English language
• Driver license
• Excellent communication skills in English. Afrikaans a bonus.
• Troubleshooting – Duties include troubleshooting and diagnosing software and hardware issues.
• Time management – Need to manage time and be able to multitask multiple things at the same time.
• System installation and maintenance – Need to install and configure new systems and maintain existing ones.
• Prioritization – Need to be able to prioritize task by importance.
• Tidiness – Keep themselves as well as work environment neat and tidy.
• Honesty – Person needs to be always loyal and honest.
• Travel & delivery – Have a valid drivers license to be able to drive to clients to assist with issues and deliver equipment.
• Relationship skills – Be able to communicate well and build relationships with clients as well as rest of the team.
• Uphold standards – Person needs to be able to fall into company procedures and uphold the standard of service we provide to our customers.
• Willingness to learn – With ever changing IT and many aspects within IT one must always be willing to learn.
• Adaptiveness – Things often goes wrong within IT or at clients, so the ability to adapt under pressure is key
