We are searching for a motivated and reliable Junior Dispatch Controller to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dispatch department.
Responsibilities:
Receive and process incoming orders requests
Schedule deliveries based on driver availability, route optimization, and
customer needs
Maintain clear and accurate dispatch records
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other departments
Monitor delivery progress and address any potential issues
Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Valid South African Driver's Code 08
Minimum 2 years of experience in a logistics or transportation environment
(preferred)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to learn new software programs quickly
Bonus Points:
Experience with MS software- a plus
Experience in the Motor industry a plus
