Your:Formal EducationCA(SA)Accreditation to be maintained with regulated bodyExperience:5 to 8 years experience in finance function post articles Experience in Group of Companies is preferredwill enable you to:Duties:General accounting records and reconciliations:Responsible for oversight of the accounting process of all Group entities and to ensure that proper controls are designed and operate effectively.Ensures the safeguarding of Group assets.Responsible for the review of periodic records including balance sheet reconciliations of all Group entities.Management information:Is proactive in addressing the information needs of the users of financial information in the businessPrepares reports, summaries or presentations to accompany the management information prepared for executive managementSales function:Performs analytic reviews of revenue, gross contribution and Assets Under and provides commentary for reporting purposes where necessaryAudit and year-end:Prepare AFS for the GroupIs overall responsible for the leadership, guidance, direction, deliverables and timelines set for the projectSpecial projects:Is overall responsible for the leadership, guidance, direction, deliverables and timelines set for the projectOtherOversee the payroll functionPeople:Contribute to the financial teams overall action plan as per set work activitiesAssist Financial Manager to monitor and manage capacity within the finance department and re-allocate work where necessaryOrganizing meetings, annual finance conference, socials, motivation and team-building for finance teamProcesses:Month End ReportingManage month end accounting process for allocated entities,Management AccountsComplete and review management accounts for allocated entitiesConsolidationsConsolidate management accounts for all the companies within the Group including consolidations entries (assisted by the Financial Manager)Consolidation of intercompany transactions across the GroupReconciliationsPayrollReview Group payroll captured by the payroll administrator and all reports related theretoSARSCalculate, submit and pay VAT for allocated entitiesResolve SARS audit queriesEnsure that all tax affairs are up to date for all companies within the Group with SARSApply for tax clearance certificates for all entities within the GroupComplete and submit annual tax returns and provisional tax for allocated entitiesReview payroll related submissions and paymentsAnnual Financial Statements and AuditAssist the Financial Manager in the compilation of the Group annual financial statements/reporting packsCompile annual financial statements for allocated entitiesBudgetsCompile annual budget for allocated entitiesConsolidation of the Group of companies annual budget and intercompany transactionManage the annual budget processes, including preparing consolidated budgets and intercompany transactionsEnsure X3 purchase requests are within budget for allocated entitiesManage timelinesTraining/Management:Provide assistance/
