A well-established Manufacturing Engineering company is looking for a ‘R&D Engineer' to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town.

Position Requirements:
• Relevant work experience
• Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelors)
• FMCG and/or manufacturing industry experience beneficial
• Bilingual: Afrikaans & English
Position Responsibilities:
• Assist with Market Research: Assist with Market intelligence (Who, Where, What, When, How)
• Product Support & Development: Responsible to obtain all product test requirements from customer
• Project Feasibility/Planning: Responsible for setting up Project feasibility and preliminary scope
• Research & Development: Responsible for the research and identification of all new / existing products
• R&D: General Admin, Procurement & Cost Control, Liaison
• Staff Management: Manage the R&D Engineers with regard to KPA’s, projects and tasks, leave approvals
• ECP, NPR & New Stock Codes Processes: responsible to complete an NPR & ECP form
