Job description/responsibilities:Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goodsMeasure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performanceOrganize and maintain inventory and storage areaEnsure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracyCommunicate job expectations and coach employeesDetermine staffing levels and assign workloadInterface with customers to answer questions or solve problemsMaintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse statusIdentify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practicesConfer and coordinate activities with other departments Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric). Qualification in business, management, logistics or a related field will be an advantage.Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role.Skills: Proven work experience as a Warehouse SupervisorHighly effective supervisory skills and techniquesKnowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiencyAbility to input, retrieve and analyse dataHands-on commitment to getting the job doneExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to direct and coordinate operationsStrong organisational and time management skills
