The Business and Digital Marketing Intern will be responsible for selecting one specific project from a list of potential options and developing a comprehensive marketing and implementation strategy for it. This includes establishing a detailed plan with clear deliverables and milestones right from the start. - Developing a marketing strategy to connect with retreat organisers or to organise our own conscious crafting retreat. - Creating a campaign to introduce conscious crafting at festivals. - Formulating an outreach strategy to the homeschooling community, promoting crafting for mental health awareness. - Developing a programme to integrate conscious crafting into the Transition Year (TY) curriculum nationwide. - Creating a marketing strategy to increase traffic and sales for our online shop, focusing on DIY art journal kits. - Developing a strategy for a franchise programme. - Crafting a campaign to engage social workers in Ireland, the UK, and the US to incorporate our workshops into their practices.
Responsibilities: • Choose one of the above projects to focus on during the internship. • Develop an initial plan with specific deliverables and a timeline for the chosen project. • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote and refine the selected project. • Create and distribute promotional materials and digital content specific to the chosen project. • Monitor and report on the progress and effectiveness of the marketing strategy, adjusting tactics as needed. • Meet regularly (video call or in person) with the mentor to review progress and align on goals and expectations.
Learning Objectives: • Develop expertise in creating and executing a focused marketing strategy within a startup environment. • Gain practical skills in project management, digital marketing, and stakeholder engagement. • Learn to apply principles of mindfulness and creativity within business practices.
Support Structure: You will receive direct mentorship from the business owner, who brings over 25 years of experience in design, digital marketing, and business management. Daily check-ins, reporting and SMART goal settings will facilitate your learning and ensure alignment with academic and project goals. Mentor has 10 years experience supporting remote apprentices all over the world.
Candidate Profile: • Currently enrolled in a business or digital marketing programme. • Interested in mindfulness, creativity, and social entrepreneurship. • Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently in a remote setting. • Previous experience in marketing or event planning is advantageous but not required.
