DESCRIPTION:
We require an experienced Creditors/Cashbook Clerk to join a reputable, established player in the advertising/digital/Media industry.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• National Diploma/ BTech / BCom Degree
• 5 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable/Creditors function
• Must have experience in the following:
o Processing of Cash book transactions
o Managing petty cash
o Submission of VAT returns
o Processing of monthly payroll
o Submission of PAYE Returns
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The accounts payable clerk roles are to take all financial functions of the companies, and these include among others, Cashbook maintenance, Creditors recons, statutory compliance, payment allocations, etc.
Monthly processing of creditors' invoices and performing the following:
· Performing creditors reconciliation
· Preparing month-end payment schedule for month-end payments
· Attending to payment queries.
· Allocation of payment to supplier accounts.
· Maintenance of clean supplier age analysis
