Description:
Our well-established client in the Assurance and Advisory space is urgently looking for a skilled, dynamic Accountant to join their team based in Pretoria East. Your duties include, but are not limited too:- Accounting up to Trial Balance (preferable XERO or Sage One Accounting)
- VAT201’s and VAT Reconciliations
- Payroll up to reconciliation – EMP201 and EMP501’s (Simplepay)
- SARS:
- VAT and other registrations
- PAYE and UIF registrations
- Income tax, provisional tax and other submissions
- Disputes
- SARS meetings to settle disputes and submit registration documents
- SARS compromise agreements
- Financial statements preparation (preferably Caseware) – advantageous
Education:
- Completed BCom in Accounting
- Completed SAIPA articles
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role/accounting background
- ERP experience in XERO, Sage One, Simplepay, Caseware
- Strong Advanced Excel skills
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Team player
- Deadline driven
- Effectively works under pressure
