A client in the real time data software tracking industry (within the mining industry) in the heart of Johannesburg is looking for an intermediate Node.JS and Express Developer to join their team in office, where you will be responsible for connecting Node.JS servers to SQL Server databases and integrating with front-end applications developed in React.JS Qualifications:- Tertiary qualification in information technology or related
- 3 to 5 years hands on experience in developing and maintaining production level applications using Node.JS and Express
- Experience with version control systems, GIT to be exact, including branch management, pull requests and code review process
- Portfolio on platforms like GitHub or GitLab is highly regarded
- Exposure to cloud based services
- Good understanding of Node.JS, Express Framework, JavaScript and React.JS
- Familiar with RESTful API's with JSON Web Token
- Develop and maintain Node.JS using the Express framework
- Implement secure, scalable solutions that support app store applications, AWS cloud infrastructure, handheld devices and mining site applications
- Lead code reviews
- Collaborate with front-end developers
