MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:ï?§ Diploma/Degree in HR or HRD field (NQF 6/7)
ï?§ HR or HRD post-graduate qualification is desirable
ï?§ 5yrs Relevant experience in middle Management (HR/HRD)
ï?§ Mining operational experience in training
ï?§ Knowledge of relevant legislation (Mining Charter, Skills Development, MHSA, BBBEE)
ï?§ Knowledge in change management, leadership & supervisory development
ï?§ Knowledge of the development of company policies, HRD strategy and procedures
ï?§ Knowledge of MQA accreditation requirements
ï?§ Knowledge of Education, Training and Development methodologies
ï?§ General HR and OD knowledge

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ï?§ Align HRD with the organisational strategic objectives to ensure that the Business Plan imperatives are
achieved
ï?§ Ensure legislative compliance as per relevant legislation e.g. MHSA
ï?§ Ensure the delivery of quality and effective training in so doing maintain HRD accreditation and certification
ï?§ Ensure Impalas business plan imperatives are carried out as per plan and SLP targets set out in Section 2 of
the MPRDA.
ï?§ Analyse and assess training effectiveness to determine when revision and enhancements of processes should
occur
