Completed BCom Accounting Degree, with proven working experienceExperience in the Forklift/Material Handling/Earthmoving Equipment industries will be a definite advantageSolid knowledge of Accounting regulationsProcessing and reconciling cashbook and related accounts daily, as well as ensuring that all queries are resolved timeously (clients, brancehs & other stakeholders)Checking and releasing Creditor and COD payments within given deadlinesPreparing accurate daily, weekly and monthly cashflowsPreparing and posting of Journal entriesEnsuring that all Nominal Ledger / Trial Balance reconciliations are prepared and reviewed monthlyCreate, maintain and control Assets RegistersPreparation of Month end files (hard copy & electronic)Assist Financial Manager with preparation and review of Management AccountsAnalytical review of Trial Balance against BudgetPreparation of monthly VAT reconciliations and ReturnPreparation of Income Tax schedulesRaising of Sales Ledger Invoices relating to specific rechargesAssisting the Financial Manager with budget and forecasting processesMonitor and report on accounting discrepanciesMonitor and evaluate risk areasLiaising with external and internal audit and resolving all queriesAssist with and prepare BEE information and auditsAny other accounting and statutory related functions that may arise from time to time
