Requirements Senior Lecturer At least a Ph.D. in Economics or equivalent, or, in exceptional circumstances, a Masters’ degree in Economics, or equivalent with progress made towards a Ph.D.
  • Teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Teaching experience in Financial Markets, Equity and Derivatives, Financial Regulation, and Monetary Economics.
  • Research supervision of Masters required.
  • Track record of administration, management, and/or leadership roles (leadership roles may be informal).

Remuneration Senior Lecturer Annual Basic: R 742 411 Annual Total Cost to Company: R 958 719 All applications will be treated in strict confidence. This post is advertised as permanent post, but the University may opt to appoint on a fixed-term contract of not less than three-years.
