• BEng (Mechanical Engineering) or related
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Business Development Manager in the mining industry.
• Excellent track record of applied engineering and product data management.
• Experience in underground mining and specifically mechanised mining equipment.
• Sound communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Focus on capital (new sales) and aftermarket segments.
• Developing and maintaining healthy professional relationships with stakeholders.
• Managing operations within geographical area of responsibility.
• Implement business strategy
• Budgets
• Sales and marketing
• Networking with industry professionals and stakeholders in the mining sector.
• Travelling to mines and underground visits to assess problems and determine suitability of mining machinery for the application.
