Production/Factory Manager required for a large manufacturing company based in East London , Eastern CapeRequirements:B Degree / National Higher Diploma – Electrical / Mechanical Engineering and/or Production management5 years production management experience ESSENTIALExcellent hands-on shop floor experience within production departmentPeople management and development skillsWell-developed conflict management skillsAbility to lead and motivate teamsHighly PC literateDuties:Authorise the planning of work, plant, materials, and machinery utilizationManage production staff in various disciplinesResponsibility for asset managementPlanning, budgeting, and execution of the annual shutdown programOversee regular audits on all safety control programsCollaborate with various departments to maintain mechanical integrity of all plant programsCompile financial documentation for capital projectsProject management of short-term, medium-term, and long-term projectsEnsure adherence of OHS Act, policies, and proceduresManagement of contractorsThis position will oversee staff and artisans covering a wide variety of disciplinesShould you wish to apply please email your CV through to Kerry O’Hagan at
