Description:
Co-ordination and execution of daily farm production
Management of staff, including disciplinary processes
Monitoring quality as well as occupational health & safety standards
Active pasture management of range areas
Management of sustainable farming practices
Maintaining flock health programmes
General maintenance
Farm administration and record-keeping
Qualifications
A relevant qualification in agriculture/ animal science (poultry)
5 Years practical experience in a similar role
Willingness to work hard and have a passion for top quality farming
Good interpersonal skills - a self-starter able to take ownership with the ability to work independently, sometimes under pressure
Attention to detail
Intermediate Microsoft Excel & Word abilities
A driver's licence and own transport a necessity
