Centurion-based company with International offices. Our client is looking for a lead engineer to manage a team of electrical/mechatronic design engineers whilst assisting with product design. Electrical/ Electronic/Mechatronic Engineer with at proven leadership skills needed.
SA division is the design hub for Product Development. Will be developing/designing of commercia products and sub-systems. Designs from first principles as well as improvement on existing Products.
Requirements:
- B.Eng. or B.Sc. or BTech degree in either Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of working experience in design, preferably wiring design and controller integration in the automotive electrical design environment.
- Directs and guides design engineers on technical related issues
- Manage project / task time lines to ensure that agreed milestones are met.
- Electrical Wiring Design (2D, 3D, Schematics) and Integration of Control Modules
- Lead design reviews with the customer and suppliers
