Are you energetic, ambitious, and looking to develop your career? Our Cape Town Tax SA department is looking to add a Client Liaison to their team. We offer a dynamic and challenging environment where we achieve our business objectives and have fun doing it. As the client liaison, you play the role as the primary point of contact for new clients and the handling of their inquiries. Your primary goal is to promptly establish the clients’ needs and provide them with a clear overview and timeline of the next steps involved in addressing those needs.

  • Are interested in learning South African tax
  • Have relevant industry experience and have worked in a client-centric work environment
  • Have strong problem-solving skills
  • Are methodical, reliable, efficient and have good time-management skills
  • Have an excellent command of the English language, and the ability to engage professionally with international clients both telephonically and written
  • Are process driven and pay close attention to detail
  • Have strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Are structured and organised
  • Are computer literate, particularly with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Are a happy, quick, and willing learner

Your role and responsibilities:
Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and maintaining an efficient client workflow process
  • Handling all new client queries and registrations telephonically and via email, ensuring clients are followed up with and assisted with our onboarding process
  • Managing all the leads efficiently, ensuring they are addressed promptly and provided with clear, concise overviews of services we offer
  • Analysing and validating of client documentation
  • Creating and managing client records via our CRM system
  • Registering clients on SARS eFiling and keeping up to date on SARS correspondence
  • Assisting with scheduling and preparation of client consultations with the departments tax practitioner
