As the Accounts Payable Clerk , you will take responsibility for ensuring that all invoices are processed , verified and reconciled within the required timeframes.
Duties include:
- Ensuring invoices are matched with relevant documentation, all information is correct and authorisations are received.
- Loading invoices onto the accounting system.
- Preparation and submission of creditors reconciliations.
- Forwarding remittances to suppliers.
- Generating relating reports.
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
You will need grade 12 and a relevant certificate in bookkeeping or finance with at least 3 years’ experience in a Creditors / Accounts Payable role. Experience in a logistics environment would be advantageous. You will need to have good working knowledge of MS Office with advanced Excel and accounting software ( SAGE Evolution and Freight Management System knowledge would be advantageous).
