A Well-known entity within the hospitality industry is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team ASAP Qualifications:- BCom in Accounting Degree
- Completed Articles would be a huge advantage
- Must have at least 5 (five) years’ experience within similar position in 4 / 5* hotels
- Must be advanced/administrative in Pastel, Fidelio/Opera programs
- Computer Literate/advanced in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Full accounting function of the hotel
- Ensure strict deadlines are met to produce monthly management accounts
- Financial reviews with Heads of departments
- Annual budgets
- Risk management
- Foreign exchange, Working capital dealings, maximizing cash flows and cash management
- Liaison with external auditors and preparation of annual financial statements
- Implement and monitor Internal controls, corporate governance and IFRS requirements
- Staff management and development
- Good understanding of the business
- Revenue integration from one system to another
- Strong experience with month end procedures
- Management accounts management – quarterly board packs
- Deadline oriented is a non-negotiable
