Job Description
Reporting to the Team Leader, You will be responsible for providing frontline technical support for the Equipment division showcasing your competencies in mechanical and electrical expertise.
Apply a high level of technical service skills and knowledge of processes to manufacture, service and repair products and tools to required quality.
Considered a technical subject matter expert in particular products or processes, you will provide instruction and guidance to trainees.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives and actively contribute to and deploy plans for the new product introduction (NPI) process
Operate all tools, machinery and equipment efficiently and safely to ensure satisfactory completion of assigned duties.
Assembly of products.
Apply problem solving skills to troubleshoot solutions to complex technical issues.
Drive root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related issues.
Identify opportunities to improve effectiveness of work.
Identify, develop and set up required jigs and fixtures to ensure continuous manufacturing efficiency.
Qualifications
Qualified as a Millwright (Red Seal)
Must have a Senior Certificate Grade 12 (Matric)
Wireman''s License (preferable)
Skills
5+ years Industry related experience in a similar role
PLC programming skills
Basic Networking skills
Prior experience using ERP software
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Pronto
