Regional Hospitality Trainer - Cape TownOur Client is seeking to employ a Regional Trainer for Cape Town.Our Client serves up the freshest global trends using the finest local and sustainably sourced produce. Our Client is passionate about health and wellness and about making, eating and serving wholesome nutritious food.The Regional Trainer must be able to identify training and development requirement through conducting training needs analysis, skills gap analysis, and then consult with the relevant business unit to design and develop required learning programmes. The Regional Trainer will be required to train existing and new managers and assist the Store Manager with the training of new and existing staff.The role is an employment equity position and open to such applications.We are looking for an individual with an in depth knowledge of the skills development framework and associated legislation, ability to lead, communicate & effectively train trainees on all levels, coaching and mentoring skills and strong interpersonal skills.Essential Duties & Responsibilities• Training, Induction and Everest audits• Design, develop and review learning programmes and learning materials• Facilitate learning programmes• Training administration• Project managing training initiatives and other ad hoc projectsThis role will also include some Operational duties• Stock transfers (physical)• Stock transfers (Micros)• Stock audits• Quarterly store audits - next level - (when required)• Invoice file checks at month end at store levelPosition Requirements• A Diploma in Food Preparation and Culinary Arts• Matric• Exceptional technical skills and proven track record• Work well under pressure• Excellent communication skills, on all levels• Strong work ethic• Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays• Assist with the annual pulse survey in the business and ensure that all the system requirements are met• Implement and monitor talent development projects as directed by HR and other subject matter expert.Qualifications• Grade 12 or equivalent• Tertiary Education - National Diploma, Degree or equivalent qualification• Accredited Assessor (advantageous if constituent assessor)• Accredited Moderator (advantageous if constituent moderator)Experience, Skills & Abilities• A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role in a related Industry and environment• Previous experience in designing training programmes
