Accountant needed in Waltloo, Pretoria. Our client is currently seeking a Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis near Waltloo (Pretoria).Duties:
- Make sure all journal entries have been approved and processed each month.
- Ensuring all balance sheet accounts and cash books have been reconciled monthly.
- Preparation of the General Ledger up to Trial Balance.
- Review and approval of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Supervision of relevant staff.
- Management of the bank accounts and cash books on a daily basis.
- Preparation of the daily bank account movement report and short-term cash flow predictions.
- Management of the Forex requirements and processing.
- Maintenance and reconcilliation of the Fixed Asset register
- Reconciliation and preparation of monthly VAT return.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Matric/Grade 12 (Certificate required)
- Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting Sciences
- 3 years experience in an Accountant/ Senior Bookkeeper
- SAP B1 knowledge and experience
- Microsoft Excel Intermediate to Advanced skills
- Manufacturing experience would be advantagous
