AWS Engineer

We're looking for an AWS Engineer to join our team! As part of our dynamic and growing organization, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and collaborate with a talented team.What you’ll do: Research and suggest new technologiesProactively identify gaps and continuously work to improve the customer experienceCollaborate with multi-disciplinary team of business analysts, Data Engineers and developersProduce reusable, efficient, and scalable programs, and also cost-effective migration strategiesDevelop different AWS services, including API, RDS instance, and Lambda to build serverless applicationsWork jointly with the Software Development team and other departments to develop web applications in AWSUnderstand cryptography and the role it plays in global trust, including various RFC and other standards Your expertise: Minimum of 6 years application development experience using AWS, Lambda, Python, Aurora, Postgres and some Angular.Ability to perform basic and advanced customisation, coding and analysisKnowledge of front-end development using AngularFamiliarity with databases (e.g. Redshift, DynamoDB, Aurora Postgres)Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirementsUnderstanding of core AWS services, uses, and AWS architecture best practicesProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitFamiliarity with continuous integrationComfortable with documenting own code for serviceability and team transfer of informationSome experience with, or understanding of cryptography.Â
