Purpose of the position:The Operations Manager is responsible for strategy development for the effective operation of the insurance company. He/she must manage the operational alignment and implementation of strategic objectives to support the bottom-line performance.Duties: Strategic development for the insurance company.Execution of the strategic objectives.Monitoring and Reporting on business performance.Specific focused reports.Manage stakeholder relationships.People management.Business acumen.Sales support.Qualifications:Commercial degree (Finance/Accounting/Business Management/Risk Management/Economics/ Insurance).Active Registration with FSCA with RE5 Certification.RE1 Certification is desirable.Post-graduate qualification in Business/Finance/Risk/Economics is desirable.7 - 10 years experience in Senior Management Operations including but not limited to:Insurance Value Chain.Strategy Development.UMA transaction structuring.Reinsurance.Leadership and Management Impact.Risk Management.Skills and Competencies Required: Proven effective leadership of a business unit.Advanced communication skills.Extensive Excel knowledge and experience.Lateral and critical thinking.Stakeholder relationship management.Financial management.People management.
