Position: Sales Representative
Location: Randburg
Reports To: Sales Manager
Job Purpose:
a Sales Representitve is responsible for using their knowledge of company products or services to connect with clients and generate sales for their employer. Their duties include developing sales pitches to sell products or services that our cleint list can rely on.The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations and attending networking events and trade shows, the sales representative must be both personable and professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate sales leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Conduct sales presentations to potential clients and negotiate contracts
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to coordinate sales efforts
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitors
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the Sales Manager
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote products and services
- Provide feedback to the marketing team on customer needs, market trends, and product feedback
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics
Requirements:
- Communication Skills: 1 year or less
- Sales Rep: 1 year or less
- must be between the ages of 18-29 years old
- Matric cerficate (Grade 12)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with sales management
- Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
