A beautifully located Restaurant is looking for a professional Front of House Manager to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited:
- Opening and closing of the restaurant
- Ensure all housekeeping is done prior to services as well as after service
- Staff management - training, mentoring and upskilling, rosters, basic disciplinary actions (verbal warnings), dealing with issues and finding amicable solutions
- Stoc control - managing FOH stock - counts and checks
- Ensure all mice-en-place is done prior to service including cutlery, crockery and condiments
- Ensure that all bookings are confirmed and that seating arrangements are in line with bookings
- Note and manage any special requests, birthdays, anniversaries, etc...
- Guest Service - ensure professional service, deal with guest questions / queries
- Create a cohesive team between FOH and BOH
- Cash up and daily balancing
- General administration associated with the restaurant
- Any other ad hoc duties as required by management
Requirements:

- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Fully computer literate - GAAP would be advantageous

Qualifications :
