With this division of the company growing a new role of Junior Bookkeeper has come about.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing bookkeeping duties such as recording, posting and processing day to day financial transactions and to perform related reconciliations
- Maintain and update accounting records for a portfolio of properties
- Assist in preparing invoices, credit notes and deal with suppliers/clients
- Capturing cashbook
- Assist with month end closing procedures
- General admin tasks relating to the finance department
Requirements:

- Cashbook Reconciliations: 2 to 3 years
- Debtor/Creditor: 3 to 4 years
- General Administrative Duties: 2 to 3 years
- Month End Procedures: 2 to 3 years
- Matric required
- Bookkeeping experience (1 – 2 years) – ideal
- Strong administrative background
- Bookkeeping qualification advantageous
- Deadline driven
- Team player
- Good communication skills ( written and verbal)
