Are You Ready to Excel in Financial Precision? My client is currently seeking a meticulous and organized Creditors Clerk to join their team.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the creditors function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling invoices, credit notes, and payments.

This role demands strong attention to detail, effective organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

This is a 6-month contract role and is based in Airport Industria, Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive invoices/credit notes from trade and sundry creditors.
• Validate tax invoices/credit notes and ensure appropriate approval.
• Record sundry tax invoices/credit notes using correct general ledger allocation codes.
• Reconcile and coordinate payments for trade and sundry creditors.
• Address queries promptly and maintain up-to-date accounts.
• Adhere to quality management system requirements.
• Timely allocation of prepayments.
• Verify core account rates.
• Allocate payments to creditors accurately.
• Ensure all creditors are provided with purchase orders.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Completed Matric or relevant finance qualification
• Previous experience in a similar role as a Creditors Clerk.
• Creditors Book Value of R65 Million .
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
