Medium-sized Engineering firm based in the Pretoria East is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team. Successful candidate must have a completed B.com degree in Accounting with completed articles. Qualifications:- Completed B. Com Accounting
- Completed SAICA articles.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Experience within an accounting firm
- Mining experience will be advantageous.
- Excel
- Full Accounting function within an accounting firm.
- Preparation on monthly recons including age analysis.
- Perform export debtors’ function for manufacturing division and follow up on long outstanding receivables to ensure no bad debt occurs.
- Reconcile of invoices
- Provisioning of monthly costs accruals through a recon of accounts and supplier statement at month end
- Remain up to date with IFRS requirements
- Make necessary provisions in the accounts in line with IFRS
- ensure necessary internal control systems are in place for process in area of responsibility.
