Description:
This small staffed, well established bookkeeping /accounting services practice affords opportunity to a candidate with only a couple of years in bookkeeping processing.
You should live on the East Rand / or close to Bedfordview area, have own transport, and preferably communicate in English & Afrikaans (eases liaison with clients).
Grow your bookkeeping expertise / level of responsibility by developing your ability to handle multiple small to medium size client companies' books. Sage Cloud Accounting experience would be very welcome.
Key pointers:
- Capturing monthly transactions from bank statements, supplier invoices, customer invoices, processing monthly journals for depreciation, payroll etc.
- Recognized accounting qualification would be advantageous.
- Level headed, strong work ethic and service orientated to ensure prompt responses to clients.
- Rewarded for your sense of responsibiity and high attention to detail.
- Excel proficiency and experience in the following packages would be welcome with Sage Cloud Accounting being number one - QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage Cloud Accounting, Sage Payroll, Pastel Partner, Pastel Payroll, VIP Classic (salaries and wages modules), SimplePay
- On ocassions you will be called to go out to clients' premises hence own transport and valid driver's licence would be needed
