My client based in Grabouw has an opportunity for a Technical Manager with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience to join their team. FMCG Industry experience essential. The position offers a unique chance for the successful candidate to lead and influence technical strategies and food safety standards at strategic site level. Requirements and Experience: A minimum of a BSc in Food Science is essential, alongside significant experience in a strategic site technical leadership role within the FMCG sector Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and drive technical excellence. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Fully bilingual Own transport Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Develop and implement strategic technical and food safety plans to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Lead and mentor a team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing food quality and safety. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes and food safety and quality standards. Manage the day-to-day aspects of the site based technical functions and oversee the FSMS systems, ensuring they are effective and up to date. Ensure audit compliance with respect to internal, external, legal and customer requirements. Set and drive departmental KPI’s and challenge improvement when required to ensure targets are achieved and improved. Ensuring that our customers Codes of Practice is adhered to and any changes are implemented and effectively communicated to the wider business. Office Hours: 07h30 – 17h30 SECTOR: FMCG
