If so, please apply today.Responsibilities:Month-end journals and reportingCompiling month-end management packsAnalysing and reporting on financial performance against budgets and forecastsBalance sheet reconciliationsAnalysis of GL accountsManage bank and supplier reconciliation teamsAssist Senior Accountant and CFO where neededPrepare and submit VAT returns and assist with all other SARS submissions (e.g. Income tax, Provisional payments, Employee tax recons, PAYE)Prepare, review, submit and liaise with auditors for annual auditPerforming financial calculationsAssist with annual budgets and quarterly forecastingMonitor compliance with accounting systems and processes and internal control policiesRequirements:CA(SA) - newly qulified / SAIPA / AGA(SA)Experience in retail industry will be beneficialWorking knowledge on accounting software such as Pastel, Xero, SagePlease note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
