Introduction:
A well established Mine in Piet Retief is a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager
They are looking to expand their team with an intelligent individual with an excellent track record.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. The Financial Manager will play a key role in helping the company achieve its financial goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of financial information and processing monthly transactions
- Prepare financial statements and reports for as wel as balance sheet reconciliations for senior management and external stakeholders
- Assisting with the preparation of forecasts and budgets
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance
- Oversee the preparation of information for VAT audits, tax returns and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements- and
- Manage the company's financial planning and budgeting process
- Provide guidance and support to other departments on financial matters
- Handling monthly, quarterly and annual closings

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, BCom Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management
Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices
Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
- Strong knowlange of accounting reporting, regulations, and procedures (IFRIS)
- Advanced Excel
- Experience with SAP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong leadership and management skills
- Previous Mining experience advantageous
