Our client is looking for an innovative Manufacturing / Production Plant Engineer to join their organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and developing production systems for the factory. Engineering knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to optimise production processes for maximum efficiency are necessary skills for this role.Requirements:5 years experience in planning and designing processes in a manufacturing environmentRelevant manufacturing / engineering degree is preferred, or BTec Professional Level 5Membership of an industry related professional body would be advantageousStrong working knowledge of 2D and 3D CADIn depth knowledge and experience of, Advanced Product Quality Planning, Lean Manufacturing techniques such as Six SigmaExperience in New Product Introduction, reworking design changes and upgrades through to productionExperience managing a teamDuties include improving manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning workflow, space requirements and equipment layout. Analysing and reporting on production processes, methods, schedules, downtime, cycle times, availability of machines and waste management.
