Role Description: Audit Portfolio Manager: Cyber required for a 5-month contract position (possible extension) for a client based in Johannesburg.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independent Assurance: Provide objective assurance to the Nedbank Group Limited Board of Directors that governance processes, risk management, and internal controls effectively mitigate current and emerging cyber risks.
• Strategic Oversight: Develop a risk-based audit plan aligned with business priorities, ensuring thorough coverage of key cyber risks facing the Group and its subsidiaries.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with governing bodies, executive committees, and business stakeholders to report on audit findings, provide insights, and drive improvements in cybersecurity practices.
• Leadership Excellence: Lead a high-performance team, fostering a culture of improvement, innovation, and accountability. Empower team members to deliver on audit objectives and drive execution.

• Qualifications: Minimum degree in a relevant field, along with certifications such as CISA, CRISK, CISM, or CISSP.
• Experience: 8-10 years of financial services experience, with a focus on cybersecurity in a banking environment. Proven leadership experience and the ability to operate independently are essential.
