Requirements:Grade 12 with relevant qualificationMust be Trade Tested – Red Seal 3 years relevant experience in a related role within the food manufacturing environmentProven experience as an Electrician in the food manufacturing or related industry. Responsibilities:Set up, fix, and manage electrical systems, machinery, and equipment according to electrical codes and safety guidelines.Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to uphold the effectiveness and durability of electrical systems.Diagnose electrical problems using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, circuits, and machinery to detect potential hazards or faults.Notify the Maintenance Manager or appropriate personnel about any electrical issues, safety risks, or concerns.Adhere strictly to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations for a secure work environment.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and standards.Collaborate with maintenance colleagues, engineers, and production staff for smooth operations.Act promptly during electrical emergencies or breakdowns to minimize downtime and safeguard personnel and equipment.
